Fernie started out in the underground battle rap scene. In 2019, he won the Sunugan Kalye Championship, defeating Blonskie in a back-and-forth bout. The Tondo emcee has also competed in Alyansa, Motus, and Bahay Katay. He made his FlipTop debut at Won Minutes Luzon 2024, scoring a victory against Freek in a solid match. Despite losing in his next two battles against Pamoso and Jamy Sykes respectively, his skills still captivated the viewers. He became known for his impressive multisyllabic rhymes, well-rounded pen game, and creative angles.
