Formerly known as Makatang Taga Mindanao, Rudic went to Metro Manila from Pagadian in early 2011 just to participate at the second Process of Illumination tryouts. Despite not reaching the finals, he still became part of the league’s official roster after captivating the crowd with his solid lyricism. He made his debut at the Different Ways event in Davao, outrapping Kuscan for three rounds. At Ahon 4, Rudic proved that he’s the real deal by defeating the more-experienced Melchrist. His delivery and technical bars improved further when he joined the 2013 Isabuhay Tournament. Even though he lost in the second round against Flict-G, fans were still amazed by his performance.
Rudic showcases his skills in music as well. He has released a solo album (“Adik Blues”) and worked with some of the most respected artists in the scene. His most famous track so far is “Suntok”, which features fellow emcees Sunny Bandila, Kintal, and Boca. The music video originally dropped in August of 2014, but was re-uploaded in May 2020. It now has over 13,000 views.
