We are now on the road to the semifinals of the 2025 Isabuhay Tournament. Let’s take a look at the final four.
The quarterfinals of the 2025 Isabuhay Tournament has just concluded at Unibersikulo 13 on the 19th of July, and what a ride it was! We witnessed major upsets, battle of the year contenders, and game-changing performances. The good news is there’s still plenty to look forward to. Now that we’re on the road to the semifinals, it looks like things will get even more exciting.
While we wait for the next matchups, we’ll take a close look at the four remaining emcees. Each one has a chance of becoming champion, which adds to the unpredictability of the competition. The quarterfinal videos haven’t been uploaded yet, so if you want to avoid spoilers, then stop reading now. If you’re still here, let’s begin!
Ban
Ban scored arguably the biggest upset victory in the quarterfinals, defeating crowd favorite CripLi at Gubat 15 in a back-and-forth bout. It’s now double the pressure for him as he heads to the semis. You can clearly see the vast improvements of his well-rounded style and delivery, and if he keeps on elevating his overall performance, don’t be surprised to see him at Ahon in December battling for the championship.
Saint Ice
Saint Ice shocked the world once again at Unibersikulo 13 by scoring the victory against Zaki in what is considered the battle of the night by fans. His mix of technical writing and jokes have been highly effective, and his stage presence is better than ever. Apart from that, his freestyle ability has also been a huge threat in the tournament. Saint Ice will surely be advancing if he continues to showcase his unpredictable style.
Katana
Katana is one of those emcees that effectively combines unorthodox and straightforward styles. His mostly laid-back delivery also adds to the uniqueness of his presentation. Because of that, he immediately gained a relatively huge fanbase. While his battle with Carlito in the quarterfinals was criminally underrated, there’s no denying the complexity of his pen game. As long as his creativity in constructing lines and angles stays intact, we’re looking at a potential Isabuhay finalist.
Lhipkram
When it comes to tournaments, Lhipkram is undoubtedly the most experienced in the final four. As for his arsenal, it remains one of the most dangerous in the league. Apart from his style breakdowns, his rhyme schemes, technicality, and delivery are always in top form. His performance in the previous rounds are stellar, but many believe he will fully unleash his A-game in the semis. A prepared Lhipkram is unstoppable. We hope to see an all-timer performance on the next round.
