On February 7 and 8, 2020, the league made history with the FlipTop Festival. There were plans for an immediate follow up, but unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic put it on hold. Five years later, many were wondering about FlipTop’s next big event that focuses on Philippine hip-hop music. On Bwelta Balentong 12, Anygma officially announced FlipTop Live.
The Manila leg will be held on the 8th of November 2025 at Metrotent Convention Center in Pasig. It will be headlined by three juggernauts: the rhyme king Loonie, veteran hitmaker Gloc-9, and one of L.A.’s sharpest lyricists Bambu De Pistola. While their musical styles are distinct, they all continue to inspire generations of young hip-hop artists from all over the world. Watch them perform some of their most beloved tracks on the big stage.
FlipTop Live Manila will also feature undefeated battle emcee Mhot, Tagalog rap virtuoso Kemikal Ali, and intricate lyricist KJah. They’re more than ready to bless the stage with their thought-provoking rhymes and impeccable flows. Apart from these gifted rappers, the event aims to highlight the art of DJing, which is another important element of hip-hop. Showcasing their skills on the turntables are DJs Supreme Fist, Arbie Won, Nicko, and Phatrick. For those who are new to hip-hop events, emcee and DJ collaborations are always a treat to witness not only through the headphones or speakers, but also live.
