While we wait for Ahon 16, let’s talk about the finals of this year’s Isabuhay Tournament.

We are now on the road to the finals of Isabuhay 2025. Just like last year, the tournament has given us lots of surprises, memorable moments, and game-changing matches. Each competitor not only stepped their game up, but is also equipped with a distinct style, thus adding more excitement to the contest. Now, we are down to two emcees. Let’s take a close look at them and how they can win the championship.
There are a few who are overlooking this matchup, but if you’re a true battle rap fan and have followed the careers of these lyricists, you would know that this has the potential to be a historic clash. These two have defied expectations many times, so it’s exciting to see what they have in store at the finals. Let us begin!
Lhipkram

Experience-wise, Lhipkram obviously has an advantage. He wasn’t just a finalist at the 2020 tournament; he was also in arguably the best Isabuhay finals in the history of battle rap. His bout with M Zhayt at Ahon 12 silenced the critics who thought it would just be a friendly matchup. This year, it’s his second time reaching the last round, and we believe we will witness a phenomenal performance.
Lhipkram is famous for his style breakdowns, which remain highly effective up to now. However, he has proven quite a few times that he’s also a well-rounded threat. He can destroy an opponent with a perfect mix of heavy bars and witty jokes while incorporating his trademark intricate rhyme schemes and confident delivery. If he keeps these elements intact while bringing something new to the table, he may get the W.
Katana

Reaching the Isabuhay finals only on his second year in the league is already a monumental achievement for Katana. He is undefeated in FlipTop so far, and surely, he wants to keep it that way. Katana didn’t just win his battles; he introduced new concepts and strategies without abandoning traditional battle rap lyricism. His calm but deadly delivery is also a welcome change of pace from the usual aggression from the emcees.
He is now known for his unique style and unpredictable approach, so heading into the finals of the tournament, he must continue with this method. Based on his previous matches, you can see that he always manages to be innovative while spitting haymaker after haymaker. Since his opponent is a master of breaking down styles, he should make sure he’ll be unbreakable, and we believe he can do exactly that.
