You’ve seen them showcase their skills in battles. Now, it’s time to appreciate their music. Here are the latest songs and music videos from your favorite FlipTop emcees. After watching their matches live and/or online, make sure to check these out. It’s a diverse list, which is further proof of Pinoy hip-hop’s continuous growth. Let’s start…

Juss Rye, KJah, JRLDM – “Sikat”

KJah may be inactive in FlipTop and battle rap as a whole now, but he’s still making good music. In “Sikat”, he shares his story about his rap career, detailing his struggles and how he overcame them. Juss Rye provided the laidback beat while JRLDM lent his powerful voice in the hook. It’s a track that will inspire not only rappers, but anyone who has a dream. Keep on working hard!

Apoc feat. KJah, Goriong Talas, Kregga, Plazma, Kensa – “Mga Anak ng Pating”

Here’s an Uprising posse track for you! Apoc teams up with KJah, Goriong Talas, Kregga, Plazma, and Kensa for the hardcore banger “Mga Anak ng Pating”. The emcees delivered complex metaphors and schemes and dark imagery on a metal-inspired beat that will have you headbanging ‘til the last second. If there’s a crew that can give you raw aggression and solid lyricism, it’s definitely the guys from the Koponan ng Kamao.

Bi$ente x Jawz – “Zoom”

“Zoom” is another collaboration between Bi$ente and Jawz. Here, they celebrate their hard work paying off while showcasing impressive rhyme schemes, delivery, and melodic rapping. The beat, just like the lyrical content, is very catchy and a perfect of combination and modern and traditional hip-hop. “Zoom” has the potential to be a huge hit in the streets and in the clubs.

Numerhus – “Parang Twista”

Numerhus, like KJah, may not be active in battling currently, but he’s still making a huge impact through music. He pays tribute to one of his influences in “Parang Twista”. The Shockra emcee, on an “Overnight Celebrity”-inspired instrumental, takes us on a journey through his humble beginnings and eventual rise in the Pinoy hip-hop scene. He effortlessly showcased his rapid-fire flow while vividly narrating his life. Twista would certainly be proud of this masterpiece.

3 O'clock – “Tarapare”

3 O’clock (Poison13, Celfiro, Maro, and Jello Ace) is back with another potential Pinoy hip-hop classic. In “Tarapare”, the group raps about chilling with friends and letting go of the negative vibes. The boom bap instrumental successfully captures the calm vibes, and the straightforward lyrics make it very relatable, even for non-hip-hop heads. It’s the perfect track to play when you just want to unwind.

Karisma – “Karismatic”

On a hard-hitting, gangsta rap beat, Karisma talks about his current business in his latest song “Karismatic”. He promotes his successful eponymous store in the most creative way, displaying his knack for witty rhyming and catchy hooks. It may not be super technical lyrically, but the words are powerful enough to motivate all young entrepreneurs out here and get your head bobbing.
