On April 25 and 26, 2026 at the 15th edition of Second Sight, we will witness the first-round battles of Isabuhay 2026. The venue will be at The Filinvest Tent in Alabang. Make sure you check out our pre-event reviews for day 1 and day 2 if you haven’t yet. Now, with everything that’s currently happening in Philippine battle rap, the tournament is shaping up to be a truly epic contest. Let us explain to you why!
To the new fans or those who aren’t familiar with FlipTop, Isabuhay is where the best of the best face off. It’s where those who’ve made a huge impact in the past year compete for supremacy. It’s more than the just the cash prize. It’s the title of champion. Being the champion of the number one league in the world is the highest honor you can receive in battle rap. Since 2013, it’s been a high-stakes tournament, and seeing the matches live is undoubtedly an unforgettable experience.
Obviously, another major reason Isabuhay 2026 is bound to be monumental is the stacked lineup. We have the perfect combination of old gods, underrated vets, and solid up-and-comers. With its diverse roster, expect nothing but top-tier lyricism and unpredictable moments. The participating emcees have their own styles, making it hard to pick a clear favorite to become the champion come Ahon 17. There will be plenty of BOTY candidates, and new stars will emerge. It’s already a big win for the supporters.
The Langit Lupa Tounament instantly made waves when FlipTop started uploading the battles. Five battles have been released on YouTube so far, but the fans are already invested. They appreciate the small room, 2010 FlipTop vibes, and of course, the remarkable performances and back-and-forth bouts. The future of the league is in very good hands, and many are looking forward to the next round. As for the next batch of uploads, prepare for more greatness from the new generation. Because of the phenomenal success of Langit Lupa, the pressure is definitely on for those who will be competing at Isabuhay. Expect the 16 emcees to bring not only their A-game, but also something new to the table. These rappers won’t allow to be outshined, so for sure, they’re more motivated than ever to give it their all and leave no room for complacency. A little friendly competition is always welcome!
