Just months after the successful 18th and 19th editions, FlipTop will hold another two-night Zoning event, and this time, it will be back-to-back, giving fans that Ahon feel. It will take place on the 24th and 25th of October 2025 at Matchpoint Sports Bar & Events in Shaw Boulevard. There are no tournament battles, but each one is still worth checking out. Let us tell you why you shouldn’t miss it!
It's FlipTop’s first time in Matchpoint Sports Bar & Events, and it’s certainly a wonderful choice. Not only is it spacious; it’s also well-ventilated and offers a wide variety of good food and drinks. Yes, the league is back to the small room setup. Ask anyone who has attended this type of occasion, and they will say that it’s a different but still very memorable experience. With a more intimate setting, the audience will have a clearer understanding of the lines, metaphors, and references. Wherever you are in the venue, you can hear the emcees spit their rhymes clearly. You’re closer to the action, which means the energy is more intense! Imagine witnessing a heated match in this setup. It’s sure to be wild!
Since last year, the concept of “alter ego” matchups added more excitement to an event. We’ve seen big names further elevate their pen game with new identities, thus proving their top-tier status. At Zoning 21, based on the poster, it looks like there will be another one. We have no idea who will be competing, so if you want to find out, go watch live. Zoning 20 and 21 have the perfect mix of returning and active veterans and promising names from the new generation. Keep in mind that the previous Zoning gave us Ruffian vs JDee, which is now a candidate for battle of the year.
