Debuted on October 5, 2024, BARA-BARA is a collaboration between FlipTop and The Linya-Linya Show. The podcast, which is hosted by Ali Sangalang, features local battle emcees and rap artists. It gives fans an up-close look at not only their journeys in and out the hip-hop scene, but also at their creative process, humble beginnings, and future plans. They’ve interviewed eight so far, with each one getting a great reaction from the supporters. If you haven’t checked it out yet, here are the episodes…

CripLi

The very first guest of BARA-BARA is none other than the unpredictable, “master of crowd control” CripLi. The Bicolano emcee shares plenty of stories related to his FlipTop journey as well as his adventures travelling from his hometown of Naga to Metro Manila to fulfill his battle rap dreams. It was uploaded two weeks after his iconic match with Hazky at the historic Bwelta Balentong 11.

M Zhayt

The second episode puts a spotlight on the only emcee in the league so far to become Process of Illumination (2014), Dos Por Dos (2017), and Isabuhay (2021) Champion. M Zhayt details his very eventful trip leading to his FlipTop debut along with his personal struggles that made him stronger than ever. You will also hear stories about his Everready character and his underground league Motus.

GL

For the third edition, BARA-BARA sits down with Process of Illumination 2018 and Isabuhay 2024 Champion and one of the league’s most intricate lyricists,  GL. How does it feel like to win the championship at Ahon 15? What’s his writing process? What’s the story behind his legendary “old gods” scheme at Unibersikulo 11? These are just some of the questions that the emcee from Palo, Leyte will answer.

Vitrum

Up next we have the finalist of the Isabuhay 2025 Tournament. They call him the “pinakamaangas na Gen Z” and the “Goddamn”. Representing Cavite, he is the emcee and activist known as Vitrum. Here, he talks about his battle approach, how he started in the world of hip-hop and battle rap, the evolution of his style, how his activism play a role in his art, and many more.

Sinio

The fifth guest is none other than the most viewed battle emcee in the world, Sinio. Using his trademark humor and creativity, the emcee and businessman from Pampanga provides a closer look at his life in and out of FlipTop and how he worked really hard to be where he is at. He tells tales about various personal experiences and how he uses them in his creative process.

Anygma

A special two-part episode featuring emcee and president of FlipTop, the one and only Anygma. Here, he looks back at the epic Ahon 15 event, giving his insights and the battles that left a mark for him. The head honcho also discusses the past 15 years of the league, and shares its many milestones. What better way to learn more about FlipTop than the founder himself?

Sayadd

According to The Linya-Linya Show crew, this artist is the most requested by fans. The sixth guest is known for his dark imagery, intricate rhyme schemes, and sinister voice. From Anonas, Quezon City, get to know more about the emcee and Illustrado member Sayadd. He discusses his origin in hip-hop, how he developed his dark pen game, his influences, how his FlipTop journey began, and much, much more.

Saint Ice

Many see his comeback story as one of the greatest in the history of FlipTop. From Paranaque, here is the story of well-rounded emcee and MMA fighter Saint Ice. The man formerly known as Ice Rocks chronicles his life from high school up to his entry into the hip-hop scene.
