For the new fans, it’s your opportunity to get to know the artists more.

Pinoy hip-hop remains very strong, and these masterpieces are proof. Of course, don’t forget to support the artists outside of the league too. There are plenty of bangers out there now. Whatever style you prefer, you will surely find something for you!

Ginoong Rodriguez (aka Batas) - “44thComing”

For his latest solo EP,  Batas changed his moniker to Ginoong Rodriguez, symbolizing the change of his creative direction. “44thComing” features his trademark intricate rhyme schemes and unpredictable flow, but content-wise, the two-time Isabuhay Champ raps about finally overcoming personal struggles and being contented in life. It’s a testament to Ginoong Rodriguez’s artistry.

Sayadd - “Siya”

“Siya” is Sayadd’s much-awaited solo project. Here, he takes us on a first-class trip into his complex mind. We hear his deepest thoughts through vivid imagery, sharp vocabulary, and dark instrumentals. Of course, it wouldn’t be complete without Sayadd’s menacing voice. Fans of his battling style will definitely appreciate the lyrical content and vibe of “Siya”.

Goriong Talas - “Limahid”

2021 Isabuhay Finalist and the first Process of Illumination Champion Goriong Talas has finally released “Limahid”, his debut solo EP. It features his beloved aggressive delivery, sharp flow, and complex schemes. The battle-oriented tracks are fire, but the EP also has some riveting story-telling songs. Goriong Talas proudly showed his evolution as a lyricist here.

Yuniko - “Buti Nalang”

Yuniko is known for his raw aggression in battles, but in his debut solo album “Buti Nalang”, he showed a different side of him. Here, the 2018 Process of Illumination Champion talks about chilling out and appreciating life on laid-back beats. Despite the shift in tone, Yuniko made sure that his lyricism stays intact throughout.

EJ Power - “To The 1st Power”

The 2024 Isabuhay Semi-finalist EJ Power has finally released his debut solo LP titled “To The 1st Power”. He showcased his creativity on a variety of topics and his technical pen game continues to shine. EJ Power also proved in “To the 1st Power” that he’s as amazing at singing as he is in rapping. It’s the album that sees EJ in full force as an artist.

Smugglaz - “SOUNDTRACK SA PELIKULA”

The legendary Smugglaz is back with a new EP. “SOUNDTRACK SA PELIKULA” is an eventful journey through the life of the emcee, which is very much like the movies. The 2012 Dos Por Dos Champion tackled not only different concepts, but also different hip-hop subgenres, all while displaying his impeccable flow, melody, and lyricism. “SOUNDTRACK SA PELIKULA” is arguably Smugglaz’s most personal work to date.
